Mason Night is the one who noticed Carter more than anybody. He had a thing for her and he didn't know how to describe his feelings for her other than crazed. He had never met nor seen any girl like her before. She was the one every one went to with their problems. The one who would listen to whatever you had to say and never mention a word about herself. She was the one who was sweet, kind, and hidden. She only had a few friends but everyone knew her. She wasn't popular, in fact she was the loser or loner, unless she was listening to someone's problems.
Mason had watched her everyday since Freshman year. Now starting out as a senior he thought everything was going to be the same. That he would sit in the back of the class and watch her day in and day out, but little did he know he would be searching for her instead. That he would be searching the streets for her, actually saying her name out loud to others, and talking more than ever.
You see Mason is or was the silent bad boy. The one who sits in the back of the class and never utters a word. The only time you see his lips move is to have a cigarette, drink, and talk to his best friend. He never dates or has ever had a girlfriend and if he did want to be with anyone it would be Carter.
He wanted Carter and only Carter.
But Carter had Disappeared before his own eyes.
