"Lea dear."

My grandmother sighed from the other side of the oak wood door.

"Lea please come out we have to discuss this."

She pleaded with me once more.

"Grandmother there is nothing to discuss I'm not going to get married to some guy I've never even met!"

I opened the door to face her.
She was a petite little lady with thin blonde hair, if you saw her from a distance you might think she was frail but once you saw her bold green eyes you instantly knew differently.

"Dear he's a prince, he's been a friend of our family for years and he's quite handsome."

She tried to reason with me further but I wouldn't have it.

"Grandmother I'm only 16! You can't expect me to marry him at 16, plus he's probably some snobby rich prince who doesn't care about anyone but himself!"

I turned my back to her and sat down on my four post bed.

"Well we will find out tomorrow because I will be meeting with his father for lunch to discuss the arrangements. And your coming with me to get to know him."
