Ali  (Short for Alice) Hansen is a 17  year old who struggles with with depression after years of being bullied  and the loss of her father after a terrible fight at work that went wrong, her  mother to stressed and hard working as a on call nurse can't help, when she to is consumed by grief and seasonal depression. Ali is left to fend for her and her little brother Daniel. But when a strange boy shows up and saves her from attempting suicide. Ali realizes there is more to life than meets the eye.

She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go.
