Trick or Die

Mia's life was great until the day her brother came home from the army and slaughtered their family and her friends on her birthday. She fought for her life that night and she made it, not without a few scars though.

Once he was caught she thought that her horrible nightmare was over and for a while it was but now, several years later Mia's birthday is right around the corner and she feels this looming presence of dread deep in the pit of her stomach. She chalks it up to bad memories and ignores it.

Now her old enemy is back in town and his presence brings more uneasy feelings, she can't figure out if they're bad or good but with her luck she'll find out sooner or later. She doesn't know the truth behind his torment but now that they're both older she might just get her answer, and a few other answers to questions she didn't know she had.

When she starts getting the sneaking suspicion that she's being watched she realizes that Maverick isn't the only one who's making a guest appearance in her life and that thought alone petrifies her.

It's time she finishes what was started long ago, Mia just hopes that no one dies this time.
