One rainy night in New York City, a woman covered only in a small poncho is seen walking into an apartment complex. She stops on the third floor on the last room at the end of the hall, laying a bundle hidden in her arms on the ground. The woman adjusts the sheets and a baby is revealed. Just as the woman walks away, the baby begins to cry. She walks over and begins to sing an old family lullaby...

In the middle of a raining night, the sound of a crying child could be heard. As lights got turned on in a building an elderly woman came out of the building holding an umbrella. "What is going on out here?" The woman caught the sound of the crying child, and followed the sound until she found a human child laying on the ground crying out in pain. The child's left arm was bleeding and covered in scars. "By buddha! What did this!?" The woman looked around but couldn't see anyone else around, so she gently picked up the crying child and carried it back into the building she came from.
