In a country called San Marino in Italy, in the capital city called Ventric, the king is dying. His daughter, Yvelin, at 22 years old is at the perfect age for taking over, but since Ventric is an island of old traditions, she has to get married in order to rule. Yvelin thinks it's a stupid rule, but she agrees anyway and goes on the search for a husband with her best friend and guard Ignav. What awaits her is something beyond her imagination and people she didn't know are after her for a chance at the crown.
On the other side of Europe , in London, Venuric is your typical geeky guy, with a passion for photography, which is, coincidently, his job. He also lives with his sister, Eileen, who always tries to set him up with her friends even though he told her he doesn't want to date. When he comes back from work one day and finds a girl with a medieval like dress and a suitcase sitting on the couch talking to his sister he's indifferent, albeit a bit concerned, since his sister has a lot of friends, but little did he know that that girl is going to flip his peaceful world upside down.
Noor, a dancer in the Royal Court of the Al-Yauzhan Empire wants nothing more than to pay off her debts and lead a nice, simple life-but a chance encounter with the crown prince and his brother brings her into the dangerous world of court politics. As Noor and the princes investigate their uncle and cousin's possible treason, she grows closer to the crown prince, but in order to save the kingdom and the person she loves, Noor will have to risk everything...
A romantic adventure set in an imagined Arabic kingdom, THE DANCING GIRL is a story of court intrigues, romantic entanglements, and secret meetings as Noor and her best friend Amir try to help the princes they're falling for expose corrupt court officials with plans to seize the throne. Noor and Amir are close to having everything they've ever dreamed of...now all they need to do is survive.
