Saffron and Kayden have been best friends since they were born. But, once they enter high school, Kayden starts acting weird. He ignores Saffron. Heartbroken and depressed, Saffron starts acting like she's invisible, trying to suppress the throbbing pain in her heart whenever she sees Kayden. 
Now, 4 years down he road, Saffron gets a makeover with the help of her best friend, Ariana. She was sick and tired of the whole 'nerd' look. As the new school year starts, Saffron makes new friends and experiences new things. WIll she finally break out of her shell and shine as who she really is? And will she finally find out what made Kayden act the way he did?
