This is a short story about an orphan who started without a name who strove to learn all they could, and learned many great things, and answered many challenging questions like, "What is the root of all evil?", "How can life be a place of suffering for some, and a place of prosperity for others?", and "What is the sound of Affliction?"

The cursed land. A prison to throw those who people in power want gone - and not coming back through reincarnation. Raviel could not stop his brother from being banished to this realm, but after 10 long years of magical research he finally has the means to go after him and bring him home. If only finding him in the land infested by monsters - and often by men and women not much better - were that easy. --- Winner of Horror category in The Flower's Awards 2018 --- Heavily inspired by Ravenloft books and the themes of Witcher 3 video game, so if you like either, at least give it a try. Feedback, both positive comments and constructive criticism, is very welcome. WARNING: I would not quite classify this as "mature adults only" - personally I read Ravenloft books in middle school -, but it does get pretty creepy at times. If creepy isn't your thing, you might want to wander elsewhere.
