Bur•den /'berdn/ Burden is one of those words that can be carry as a noun and verb. Noun: something you carry or withstand with much difficulty. Verb: an act of weighing down, overloading, or oppressing. A Thug's Burden: Something that is emotionally difficult to bear, a source of great worry or stress - an affliction, cross - something onerous or troublesome. They have all made it through their junior year, they have had their ups and downs and as they say, they always prevail, they always stay on top and as the girls would say, there's nothing like them thugs. Now they are seniors and ready to stay on top but what none of them expected by being on top are those burdens that comes with it or that probably has been there all along that could set fire to their world.
