Tales of Arduin takes place in the world of Maeroth in a kingdom known as Arduin. Tales of Arduin is going to be the name of the series this book's title will be decided upon later. This book follows the adventures of Pelaron, Garen, and Desam as they are set upon there own separate journeys. Each journey playing its own part in a prophecy foretold centuries ago. Pelaron, or Pel as his friends call him, is different from the rest of the boys in the village in two ways. First he is the child of a Blade-Master, and thus has been training to be one. Second is his appearance, his hair is the color of flames and often times when the wind is strong it will appear that his head is on fire, and his eyes are the color of hot embers. Not only does he have to deal with this fact as he grows up, but he also learns a secret. He can use magic. Garen has spent his entire life on the Isle of Blades, or at least what he can remember of it. The Isle is where most Blade-Masters train in combat until they are ready to leave on their own. Garen arrived on the island through unconventional means, by becoming a stow-a-way, because of this the Blade-Masters took him in and decided to train him. Now after years of training he finally achieves his goal of becoming a Blade-Master, but he learns a secret that drastically changes the plan he had made for himself. Desam is a thief, no beating around the bush here, he steals from people. He grew up the son of a farmer, but one night in a single fell swoop all that he held dear was taken from him. Now he is after two things, survival and revenge. Survival in an inhospitable forest where thievery is the best option at survival, and Revenge against the people who took everything away from him. Yet prophecy may just have a totally different fate in mind for this young criminal, he may just turn out to be the most important piece in the puzzle known as prophecy yet. Is he? Well you'll just have to wait and see. Updates will not be constant

What if the fantasy world you grew up reading was real? What if your father wasn't an overbearing writer, but a warrior who defeated kings? What if you traveled to this world and returned? Who would you tell? Who would believe you? Jack doesn't know who he wants to be. Everyone at high school only knows him as the son of world-famous fantasy author Marcus Ward. But after Marcus mysteriously dies, Jack finds himself transported to the fantasy world, where the fictional heroes and villains live and breathe. Even worse, they've been expecting him. Some want to kill him for his father's crimes. Others think he is the answer to a prophecy, come to defeat a familiar evil. An army of rebels has rallied behind a prophet who foretold Jack's arrival - but who hides his own secrets. Jack must now confront his father's legacy in one world and rise above it in the other. Otherworld goes beyond the "other world" fantasy trope by continuing Jack's story when he returns to our world. How can he go back to his life after learning his father's secret - and who would believe him?
