At the age of seven years old, Adelaine Brooks was hit with the news of her parents sudden disappearance. With no leads on where they were, or how they ended up missing, it was only time until she was pronounced an orphan. With being tossed to foster home to foster home for the rest of her childhood, she became more independent of herself, and not of others. It wasn't until the age of sixteen that she decided to venture out and live on her own terms, instead of just being another unloved kid in the system.
Now at eighteen years old, while everyone is focused on college, and the beginning of their lives, Adelaine has only one goal on her mind, and that's to find the mystery behind her parents disappearance. She's stopped along the way with a connection to the forbidden woods located off the edge of her city, and a dominance battle with the town's very own delinquent, she's bound to get herself caught in life-or-death situations. To her, it's all worth it if it meant she would bring her family back together again.
