Becca was just an ordinary seventeen year old girl until the doctors found out she has an extremely rare case of Wilms' Tumor, a cancer that is almost unseen in children above the age of 5. Wilms' Tumor is a cancer that forms on and in the kidneys, and can go unnoticed due to no drastic symptoms; however, untreated it can be deadly.
As Becca starts her final year of high school, she also enters her final stage of the cancer. While some hope does remain, her parents encourage her to do whatever her heart desires in the last year of high school. And in life.
All hope seems lost to Becca until she meets someone new. Someone inspiring. Someone surprising. Someone worth living for. Will she hopelessly fall in love? Or will she push away and enclose herself to make sure no one else gets hurt in her downward spiral?
