Claire-13 years old. Lives in the United States. Adopted by Suzy and Will Carson with their daughter Danielle. Reason for adoption: parents murdered right in front of her.  Claire is mentally scarred from her parents death, and can't get over what's all happened. She is depressed, and has issues calling the adoptive family her new family.                                                   Emily- 13 years old. Lives in New Zealand.  Emily is constantly depressed. She has no friends and is bullied by everyone. She is verbally and physically abused by everyone. She doesn't tell anyone in fear of getting hurt by the  bullies more.  She cuts herself and has dreamed of trying to commit suicide.            Will the letters and talks between these two solve all their issues? Will Claire become closer to her family? Will Emily learn to love life?
