Just an idea for a story, based on a dream I had. Please give me feedback!

Things on Earth are starting to change, and I can feel it. Three days ago, Alec disappeared. I don't know if he left to protect me, or if they took him. All I know is something isn't right. He should have been back by now. I'm running out of time, but I'm afraid to go outside. What if they are still there? I can't do this on my own. I'm not strong enough.
