People always think it's fun to make fun of me. I really don't get it, yeah I'm a pretty big mess but I can't help it. I just have a hard time because people tried to kill me last year... I guess I was there wrong place, wrong time. But that doesn't mean you're not scarred for life.

Avian Stanley is 17 year old as his life shatters into pieces, while being at a concert with his 'true love' James Anderson, terrorists burst into the theater and start shooting around.

James dies in the theater and Avian has to leave him behind and his former life.
His new school and classmates don't get it, Avian doesn't talk and always shakes, he's just not normal. Avian is still blaming himself for the death of James, and does not allow himself fun without James.

Until a new kid showes up named Daniel Flynn promises himself to help Avian through the hard times.

"If I could pick anyone in the entire world, in the entire world, Will, I'd still choose you." *** William Nile has always felt a lack of control in his life. His head's clustered and the past likes to eat at his thoughts. Isolation is a synonym for safety and staying neutral is a key ingredient for survival. He's always felt more put together when he was a mess; always felt like the world was clearer in the dark. He can't help it, this is just how it's always been. Then comes along a new foster family who throws him for a loop. They're exactly who they say they are, exactly who they act to be. With that comes a goofy boy named Clement and his best friends, annoying twins who laugh loudly- -good luck telling Jude and Demi apart- -and a girl named Minnie who has a god complex. Will knew from the day he arrived that he needs to focus on acting the way his foster moms want, on getting good grades, at playing soccer well and making sure that for once, he doesn't mess up. He knows he doesn't want to lose these friends, knows he wants to feel wanted and needed and understood. Because here, there is more focus on his mental health than there is on if he's acting the 'right' way. Here, there is room for growth and change past a foster parent's ideal child. Here, there's no room for entertaining the idea of him with a pretty boy who has a witty smile and a loud laugh. On that last note, he has no idea what to do (and Will is someone who likes to plan ahead). *** A coming of age story.

The boy in the alley~Robin and Finney don't have a clue who each other are they're not friends they're not in the same classes and they don't even know each other's names but somehow are in the same situation at home. Finney:the quiet kid nobody knows but at the same time everyone knows his name he has only one friend Bruce which is someone he wouldn't even call a friend more of an acquaintance and he would often get bullied by random kids and would get to school just to see a lot of death threats on little papers in his locker and red marks on his blue locker calling him all kinds of trouble names and it didn't help that his dad was telling him the same thing at home while his mom sat around all day drinking tequila and watching family, Guy. Robin:the kid everybody is scared of in his first two years of high school he would fight anyone that would look at him wrong but he stopped in his third year when his dad died but unlike Finney he has friends Vance and Billy to help but he didn't want it he hated that they treated him like he would break at any second but just like Finney he did not have a good home life once his father passed he was stuck with his mom who for some reason did care about him anymore she would let his uncle beat Robin, and sometimes throw random objects at him ⚠️ disclaimers⚠️ This story may contain Drugs Homophobia Physical abuse Mental abuse Depression Anxiety Degrading thoughts Fighting Attempted suicide Blood Mood disorders Psychotic disorders Eating disorders Impulse control and addiction disorders
