I wanted to move but my body seemed to not listen to my brain. I took in a sharp breath preparing myself for the blow but instead I felt a warm presence on my cheek. The next thing he did made my eyes widened and heat rise up in my cheeks immediately.

After a month of living in Manitoba, Arabelle doesn't even acknowledge his existence. Elliot is a mess and doesn't know what to do with those unwanted feelings. So he chooses to do the most logical thing, to win her over... eventually.
