Clockhands

In a time when the pointers of the clock set the boundary between two different worlds, people are divided into two groups; the Daylighters and Nocturnals. Daylighters are people who live by the sun during the day and are not allowed to go outside at night, while nocturnals begin their 'days' at night, when the sun goes down and the sky is illuminated by the moon and stars are not allowed to roam during the day.

And while setting foot outside your windowless homes after your share of time is over is against the law and causes serious punishment, a daylighter named Kai sneaks out after sundown and witnesses a strange new world of daring darkness illuminated by city lights and filled with people he's never seen before, he realizes how there is much more to the night than what daylighters are taught and imagine.

But things become more complicated after he meets a nocturnal girl with issues of her own and has trouble acting "normally" and hiding his curiosity as well as his amazement, and a case for a missing daylighter was filed.
