Grand Master of the Templar Order's Crawford Starrick, had a daughter. Nakiva Starrick. Smart, beautiful but deadly. She's fully aware what her father does and what he's capable of. Secretly, she does not approve of her father's orders. Knowing that her mother was part of the brother hood, an assassin, but died from giving birth to Nakiva. As so she was told. Nakiva sneaks off every night to her father's library and read all about the assassins and templars, always wondering what her mother was like wishing she could have met her. She would caught her father's frustrating cries every morning holding her mother's picture clutched to his chest.
Starrick would force Nakiva into going to Templar gatherings so she could get "used" to the duties of a templar grand master, convinced that Nakiva would take over his place in the future. This environment bore Nakiva very much. She hated wearing thick, heavy dresses and tired of being trapped in her father's manor. Until one night she decided to sneak off once again, but not to her father's library this time.
