Twelve year old, Amaya, has gone to the same school all her life. She is in the middle of her seventh grade year, and has so many friends. Everything turns around when she finds out that her mom has cancer, and to get the best treatment possible, Amaya is forced to move away from everything that had made her who she is. What will she do? What choices will she make? Will she make the right ones? What experiences will influence her choices?
