Gerard Way lives in a small Californian desert town, dusty and deserted, nothing ever happens and nothing is ever out of the ordinary.
But Gerard has a secret, for as long as he can remember, he had been able to see the dead. His clairvoyant abilities terrify him, he has frequent, violent nightmares and his odd behaviour makes him isolated and lonely.
But then, Gerard stumbles into the new guy in town, Frank, who is renovating the old music shop, and things begin to change. Ever so slowly, a relationship develops between them.
When evil appears in the desert, and Gerard is the only one able to see it coming, will he be strong enough to defeat it?
