"How come I've never seen you before?"

I jumped from the piano seat as I stopped the performance I didn't even know I was performing. When I looked at who the voice was, I couldn't believe my eyes. 

"W-were you listening the whole time?" I asked, stuttering like a maniac. 

"Maybe." He said with a smirk. 

"Please d-don't tell anyone about this." I asked. 

"It's unhealthy to hide your talents." He told me. "I'm David Compton." He stuck his hand out. 

I took it. 

"I'm Peyton Keels."

"I know."
