A month before Kenji was born, A great demon fox, the Kyuubi attacked the Village of Konoha. During the battle, her uncle Kakashi and her father, Hayato Hatake. Fought side by side against the demon fox, but it was to much for Hayato. He died fighting for Konoha's safety just like he wished. Leaving his ten year old son Hinote and wife, who was pregnant with Kenji, alone.
After Kenji was born, Hikari Tsukioni wanted to start over with her little baby. Her brother-in-law, Kakashi, said he'd take care of the son Hinote for her while she was gone. She promised her son to come back after Kenji was old enough, because then she could hear the story of her fathers death from all of them.

When they went to the Mist everyone in the Mist shunned her. Her mother was the only one who cared about her, and loved her. But trouble struck her again when she had turned five. The last month in the mist was her worst, she'll never forget her last day there. Her mother had been murdered right in front of her very own eyes, the men are just shadows in her memories now.

The mysterious men took her, something important from her. But before more could be taken, She had been rescued and was brought her back to the leaf. Her uncle, Kakashi welcomed her into his home and cared for her. Nobody ever told her where her brother, Hinote had gone. Kakashi told her he was safe and would one day come back. She looks forward to that day.

Eight years later, she is now thirteen and is about to become a ninja with her friends. But will old enemies come back? Will her nightmares of her past become reality? Or is a brand new, dangerous enemy about to come in her life?
