One of the gods of fortune meets a boy one day in help. The boy asks the God to return something to his dead brother in the afterworld. But the god couldn't do so, cause it would ruin her reputation, making the heavens to punish her, thinking that the god wants to revive a dead person, which is possible. So, she refuses. But the boy clings to the god, only to find himself to leave his body and turn into a wandering spirit that lays between two worlds, reality and the gods'. Not knowing how to get back to his body, he follows the god to be able to get back into his body. But the god tries to abandon him, only to come and save him when bad spirits, so called "shinigami" or "ayakashi", had came to attack him. The true story starts here-the life of MeOujo, the goddess of longevity, and Akio Eiji, the boy who follows alongside a god.
