Each word I read made the loud, thumping music slowly disappear from around me until I found myself fully emerged in this book. That is until I smelt the strong smell of alcohol causing me to look up at my disturber. Only to find the West Wood High's most obnoxious, arrogant, cocky (did I say obnoxious) boy in the whole school.

"Why the hell are you reading a book for?" he asked in a British accent that would make almost all girls swoon, except me.
"I can do whatever I want now leave me alone you idiotic moron," I said, my temper slowly giving away.
He laughed cynically. "I don't take orders from a nerd" he sneered.

Now it was my turn to laugh. Holding up my book with the cover facing him I said, "Never judge a book by its cover". Flipping over the book to side with the summary I growled. "Try reading the synopsis first". And with that, I flipped him off and walked away.
