All Amber Cage ever wanted to do is live a life without fear, but that's kind of hard to do if your two inches tall and have glowing silver wings. Fairies come in all different sizes, but of course with her luck, she was one of the smallest species of fairy, a water fairy. She has to worry about being squished, eaten by animals, being discovered,and being bullied about the other fairies because she couldn't fly. She was born with two broken wings that never fully healed. But she has one slight advantage to the other fairies. Water fairies are the only fairies that could swim. Other fairies wings get wet and heavy, and they drown. So when Amber is in the lake to wash away the pain of the day, she gets hooked on a fishing line and is discovered by a human. Will he turn her in to a scientist to dissect her, or will they find love, and Amber will finally feel like she fits in?
