Paislee Adams, is fire in a world full of shit doing her best to keep herself and only companion, a small beagle, alive during the end times. She didn't want to be in a group. She didn't want, nor need one. I mean why would she, she can barley take care of herself and Shiloh. But when she runs into a man with a funny hat on a mission to find his family, she can't help but want to know were hers was. Granted Paislee's family was far from a perfect, nice, or hell even decent. She missed having a family. People to care if she came back from a run or not, to make her feel like she mattered, to love her. In a world where you can't find toilet paper to wipe your own ass, Paislee might find something much more valuable instead.

Holding out in a hospital after leaving his house he finds comatose Rick Grimes and decides to stay and make sure Rick is taken care of. Shortly after Rick awakes, they run into Morgan and Duane Jones. Over the course of the 11 years of a normal life, Ford had he had been reported missing nearly 13 times and ran away from home, the longest span of time being 3 weeks, nearly a month. He's been out hunting with both his brothers. Normally hiding away in the woods until his brothers found him.
