Rose is one of the many girls that lives in the villages in the kingdom of Howls.

She lives with just her mother, as her father passed away when she was three, while fighting in a war.

At the celebration of the 18th birthday of princess Emma, Rose accidentally bumps into none other than prince Luke himself. 

As the night goes on, they talk, not in the presence of everyone but out in the garden. Roses begins to have feelings for the prince, though what girl wouldn't, he's gorgeous, rich and Royal, everything a girl would not. But not Rose, she likes the way he's charming and sweet to her.

The night ends and Rose goes home but can't help to replay the night in her head.

Weeks go on and she doesn't see him again. 

But one night something tragic happens and Rose is in a position she thought she never would be in, in her entire life.

Choices will have to be made. 

Hearts will be broken.

Will she ever survive in the presence of the Royals?
