Many names are given to heroes...Legends...Legacies...but none as much of that in a universe full of evil. A darkness contaminates our galaxy and the next...possibly the entire universe. Only a group of legends and legacies can stop this darkness that lingers. Many have multiple name classes for these heroes. Spartans, Helljumpers, Elites, and Guardians. Together they know how to team together and stop this growing darkness and rise to power. But the dark began its path before time...and now the heroes have a new name, the Light. The Darkness has arisen once more. The Covenant has been brought back from the ambers of their once great holy city. Now, the Light must proceed forward and complete a whole new journey...

Now Gray must desperately juggle the responsibilities of maintaining his relationship with the girl of his dreams, raising a future family, surviving the Covenant onslaught, and most of all: Keeping his humanity. Halo Battle Buddies 2: Homefront
Book 02/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. From this Forerunner, it pledged itself and its forces of unknown magnitude to fight the genocidal war against the Covenant, to protect humanity. The UNSC Pillar of Autumn heads course back home, to the Solar System, Earth. A big mystery slowly unveils on humanities newest ally. Will our heroes within the UNSC turn the tides of the conflict in the fates of their species? What will this alliance with the Forerunner entail to go on the offensive? All will be revealed in due time. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond.
