Avalon Valley, California, is a special place. It's a place of friendship, laughter, love, and joy. To some, it is also a place of magic. The Douglas family lives in Avalon, and when Meredith's grandma comes to visit for her and her twin sister Jill's family, the Douglas family history is about to come to light, as well as a long-hidden prophecy. From there, Meredith, Jill, and the others are taken back in time to the place California used to be: the world of the dinosaurs. The family is separated, and they embark on a journey like no other, learning lessons about family, friendship, and love along the way.
