This is my favorite book of all time and I really loved reading it. I do not own any part of this book at all. All credit goes to the author, Lucy Christopher. An amazing writer. You saw me before I saw you. A girl: Gemma, at the airport, on her way to a family vacation. You had that look in your eyes. A guy: Ty, rugged, tan, too old, oddly familiar, eyes blue as ice. Like you wanted me. She steps away. For just a second, He pays for her drink. And drugs it. Wanted me for a long time. He takes her, before she even knows what's happening. To sand and heat, To emptiesness and isolation. To nowhere. And expects her to love him.

Even when you have nothing left to give, there's always something to be taken from you. That's the life of a 17 year old girl named Lita. Her life is full of loss and sorrow. Her parents were murdered by a man who despises her fathers family. And now Lita lives in the woods with her little brother Tristan and her grandmother. After something happens to Lita's grandmother, she is forced to move to the city with her little brother and start a new life there. But the sorrow doesn't end...
