On a day like any other, among the waving grasses of gold and immortal skies of pale blue, a young lion prince is born. Like his father before him, he is destined to become the king of the Pride Lands, a hard and solid task meant only for the wisest of lions. Under the careful direction of his father, Mufasa, the young cub grows in understanding and learns to view life through wisdom's eyes, but when Mufasa is killed and the Circle of Life is thrown out of balance, the cub runs away from all he's ever known and turns his back on his past. Only when a childhood friend returns to him and begs him for help does Simba realize that his land needs him and that he is indeed the one true king.

The Lion King story but Simba, Mufasa, Nala, Pumbaa, Timon, Scar, and all others are people. I took our friends from the wilds of Africa to the concrete jungle of New York city. Mufasa went from king to C.E.O of million dollar company King Industries. Scar goes from evil little brother of the king to secret crime boss. After having done something for one of his pride members, he returns the favor and takes her in. She gets to know his queen Sarabi and his young cub named Simba. During her time with Mufasa and his pride, she comes to realize that they have more of connection then they thought. After tragedy strikes once again, Shani and Simba are sent into exile and they run away into a jungle to be taken in by a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa. When they are forced to return to The Pridelands to face Mufasa's evil brother Scar, will Shani fight her fears to help Simba take his place as king and find out who she truly is within herself?
