This story is about a Witchy Shifter named Emi MoonShadow and her Best Friend Slade Starling the Warlock. Those two had been friends for years when both of their parents were murdered in cold blood by a bloodthirsty rogue. When they found him and killed him in return.
But now they are just living life like their parents would have wanted them too. With only one problem though, they both haven't found their Mates. Every now and again they would move from place to place with the hopes of find them.
When one their last move they stayed in a place called Moonlit valley where the forests were lush and welcoming. They just finished settling into their new home and town when they noticed that a werewolf pack was settled in the same place. They were letting the pack's Alpha, Luna, Beta, Beta's Mate and the 3rd in Command along with his Mate know that they would be staying on their territory so they wouldn't be attacked by accident.
Then they both smelled the scent of what they were looking for, for the last few years and they were in the same pack as the one they were talking too. But they both decided to hide their scents from them and hide in plain sight to see how their mates acted before they came into the picture.
