Color. It's something our brain makes up. It doesn't really exist. So how come everyone made a big fuss about meeting and touching their soulmate so they could see in color? After all, what's so bad about black and white? Aren't they colors too? That's what Nico thought anyway. When he was younger he had tried to imagine a new color but had never been able to. His sister had died seeing the world in black in white. Nico didn't see the point of color. That is, until he touches his soulmate and sees what he's been missing out on... Edited January 2024.

Dean Winchester. Normal man in a normal world. Lives with his brother and his soulmate. Jess. They live in a world of soulmates. At birth you get a necklace with a certain shape or item. And everyone will see black and white until they touch them. But when far the colors go away and won't come back until the two touch again and to keep he colors they must kiss. But Dean doesn't like the whole soulmates. Destined to be. Matched from heaven. Different for Castiel. Every day he goes to work and always looks at the necklaces. Looking for the other wing. Wishing he could see color and just be happy with someone.

The wings that you have is the opposite color of your soulmates wings. For example; Black and white go together. When you meet your soulmate you just know it and it's the best feeling in the world. John felt that way with Mary. They both died unfortunately and they were buried. So, Dean and Sam are on there own. When you turn 16 you first get your wings. Dean is turning 16 and so is Castiel. Dean doesn't know Castiel exists and Castiel doesn't know Dean exists. That is until Castiel gets transferred to Dean's school.
