Where the Lotus Grows

In mud and places you call rejects
Those are the places I call home
In all those places you're irritated by
That is how I find my strength
Sometimes different can be useless
And not necessarily unique
But I guarantee you one fact
You'll rarely find me in palaces and castles
Dining before kings and Queens
But when the lonely uncelebrated swamps are called
You'll find me blooming in the mud
Because my strength comes not from having it all
It comes from growing the beautiful out of life's ugly
I am lotus and I am proud to be

"you should've told me." "i couldn't." "i would've helped." "you couldn't have, you still can't." - i wrote this book when i was younger and was going through some stuff, so needless to say, it's shitty and cringey sorry ?
