Melanie considers her twin brother, Miles, to be her best friend. They agree on just about everything, have the same hobbies, and tell each other all their secrets. Miles has always been considered the sweetest guy in the sophomore class. He only swears in front of Melanie, is always considerate of other peoples' feelings, and would die doing anything, so-called, "rebellious". But people change. And when Miles' friend Kyle takes control of him, pressuring him into transforming into a whole new person, Melanie's heart is shattered. And she is beyond desperate to make Miles become Miles again. Meanwhile, the twins deal with their own personal problems: falling in love with the wrong people and choosing the wrong friends. With all the side drama, will Miles and Melanie ever be able to be the friends that they were? Or will the pressures of high school screw it all up?

This book is about two highschool teenagers who have been inseparable since the moment they met as young children. Their friendship, built on years of shared memories, secrets, and dreams, had blossomed so profoundly that no one could tell where one began and the other ended. The neighborhood where they grew up had come to know them as a pair, so much so that people often referred to them as "twin brothers," despite their different families. Their bond was more than just friendship; it was a silent promise of loyalty, trust, and unspoken understanding. But high school has a way of complicating the simplest of things, and this year, a new dynamic had entered their lives, when the new transfer student walked into their classroom, everything shifted. Non of the two friends had anticipated the impact she would have on their relationship, but soon, they found themselves drawn to her in ways neither could quite explain. As the days passed, a quiet tension began to build between the two friends, a subtle but undeniable change that neither could avoid. What had once been an unbreakable brotherhood now felt fragile under the weight of new, uncharted emotions. The question lingered in the air: Would their friendship stay strong, or will it Fall apart under the might of love.
