Melanie considers her twin brother, Miles, to be her best friend. They agree on just about everything, have the same hobbies, and tell each other all their secrets.

Miles has always been considered the sweetest guy in the sophomore class. He only swears in front of Melanie, is always considerate of other peoples' feelings, and would die doing anything, so-called, "rebellious".

But people change. And when Miles' friend Kyle takes control of him, pressuring him into transforming into a whole new person, Melanie's heart is shattered. And she is beyond desperate to make Miles become Miles again.

Meanwhile, the twins deal with their own personal problems: falling in love with the wrong people and choosing the wrong friends. With all the side drama, will Miles and Melanie ever be able to be the friends that they were? Or will the pressures of high school screw it all up?
