and most of all feared.

But what happens if the darkness grew legs of it's own?


Nixie is a normal teenage girl... Well besides that she's a mermaid. On her 16th birthday she began to grow scales on her legs, aqua highlights in her hair and the ability to breathe underwater. But what she doesn't realise is that she is no ordinary mermaid. 

The darkness is a terrible evil that is destroying the ocean one kingdom at a time. Many flee from the predictable dangers, but everyone believes that one mermaid is destined to destroy it and become queen; Nixie.

Will Nixie be able to hide all of her dangerous secrets and destroy the darkness that so many fear? or will she drown in all the ocean's secrets?
