In a world where everything has been turned upside down and where the dead roam the Earth, one tiny mistake can result in your death. Being alone is a bold option but when you've got no one else but yourself it's the only one there is.

Growing up as a daughter of a man in the military, Sam had learned a thing or two. At the age of 12 she was fully capable of surviving on her own in the wilderness, although she never believed that knowledge would be useful one day. Nowadays she's grateful for what her father put her through as the dead walk the streets. But surviving on your own will only get you that far, so when she encounters a group of people living outside of Atlanta, what will she do? Is she going to trust a group of complete strangers that seem to have enough trouble as it is, and if so, will it be worth it?
