Dedala, a young girl at the age of 14, has a special gift. She has the ability to control her future, along with any other lives of people she chooses to control. Dedala lives in a nice sized home with a brother, along with having to share a room up in the attic with two sisters. Although she is a semi-smart child, she has a hard time keeping her grades up in the 8th grade, due to being bullied. She has one close friend that shares her interests, Taja. Dedala's life is not an ordinary life, she controls her life, but with every choice she makes, her power weakens, and there is a consequence. Dedala soon makes a choice that may never be fixed when her brother gets taken to the holding dome, and may never be able to return home.
