Madelyn Harris is a shy and thoughtful pianist from Arizona. Her life is going perfect until she meets Dylan Matthews, a cocky, arrogant soccer players who happens to play on the same team as her best friend George.

Madelyn takes an instant disliking to Dylan because of all of the things that George says he does at soccer and with the team.

However, when she goes to Dylan's parties and George (her ride home) leaves her alone stranded in the parking lot of the club.  Dylan tells her about how he knows more about her than she thinks.

But, the pressures of Dylan trying to get a soccer scholarship and keep his family happy he doesn't know if he has time for Madelyn.  Madelyn was accepted into her dream school so she doesn't know if she should continue on her quest of feelings or end them completely 

Finally, when George realizes he has feelings for Madelyn, he threatens to come between them, Dylan has to act fast. But will they ever find the love that they deserve?
