Lucas Marcus, a 'regular' teenage boy, is led by a series of strange events to discover his magical abilities and--to his surprise--the magical powers of his best friend, Clyde Xavier, and long-time crush, Fiona. The three have been chosen to join the Protectors of Balance; a taskforce with the responsibility of maintaining order between Light and Dark Forces. Together they must journey on a mission to challenge Krampus and his allies, visiting Christmas destinations like the North Pole in the process.
Although, feelings and deadlines only make their quest more complicated. Coupled with furious yetis, dark elves and a strange mega-corporation bent on capturing the supernatural...the Protectors of Balance are in for a not so Merry Xmas.
