As I was growing up everyone always told me that eventually I would get my heart broken. So I told myself that no matter what happened my first love, would be my only love because the thought of getting my heart broken scared me. Someone also once told me that getting my heart broken would be one of the most painful things I will ever experience. They were right.

Broken
I always thought that love would be constantly happy. That someone would write me love songs and stupid poems and everything they did would make my heart flutter. I thought that there was always one person you could depend on no matter what to be there for you. Someone who still cared for you despite all your flaws. Sometimes love doesn't come when we expect them to, and sometimes it does come when we expect them.
