"Oh," he said, as my back hit the wooden wall. Damn it, of course. With nowhere to go, his arms locked me in between him and the wall. He stared down at me as he said, "So you're trying to piss me off?" His lips were surprisingly close to mine. No guy would ever be this close to me in real life, let alone me being able to handle it; I would've been so timid and afraid. But this was the dream world. I could speak and be as brave as I wanted to. "Yeah, I am," I said. "What are you gonna do about it?" He paused as his eyes looked between the two of mine. Then, he smirked and swiftly closed the gap between our lips. ~~ In a small town in New York, Hazel is your average quiet type. In a school full of clichés, she falls perfectly under the category of "nerd" and has her own little nerdy group of people she loves to hang around. They respect the fact that she's non-verbal. The thing that plagued her, surprisingly, is not her inability and refusal to speak, but her ability to go through anybody and everybody's dreams. This is not something she can control, nor something that's necessarily dangerous. It just happens. One second she's in darkness, the next second she happens to be in someone's dream. But, when she stumbles into a dream of a guy she never knew existed in her grade of 500 students, albeit his popular status, both her worlds get flipped upside down.

My heart melted when he smiled at me. Briefly I forgot what I was supposed to do, but then remembered. The lights. I smiled back and flipped the switch.

"Hey! Wait up! We've been socializing for a while, you know that right?" He hummed in response and continued walking with his head down, avoiding eye contact or physical contact with anybody. "And I don't know your name, but you already know that I like you and all," I continued but caught the shy boy's attention. He looked at me quizzically wondering if it was some type of joke. My breath hitched as I caught myself in a trance as I stared into those dark gray eyes of his. He raised an eyebrow and smirked snapping me out of it. I blushed before hesitantly asking. "What do I call you?" "Call me possessive," ***trigger warning sexual abuse***

I glanced at my watch, fifteen minutes. I ran towards the closest train station. So many stairs. I jog down and right when I turn to dash in the actual train station floor, I run into a hard, warm surface. My bag falls down and I was just about to tell off whoever did this...until I met two dark, forest green eyes piercing me through tuffs of sandy brown hair. Class could wait a little longer...

"Don't call me anything but Jade!" I scowled. "And what happens if I don't?" He took a step forward making me feel smaller in seconds. "I-i..." "Right, You won't do anything miss "I'm so tough". " He said taking more steps forward causing me to take steps backwards. "I'll tell my dad!" I threatened. "If you were going to tell him, you would have done it already." He said. My back hit a wall and I almost fell, but I caught myself on the wall. "I'm not gonna stop until I get what I want." He said putting his hands on the wall next to my head. He's standing so close to me that he feels like a blanket. **** [18+] [Mature content] [Sexual content]

*Previously named: I'm Not A Saint* ----- "Do you honestly not get it yet?" A small part of me questioning out of pure amazement, but mostly out of built-up anger. There's a slight pause before he responds, " That you're blind? Well no shit. I just wanted to know what the papers were." So calmly that it causes a shiver up my spine. Despite my whole body telling me not to, I turn in his direction. His words seem to repeat in my head. Any composure that I had-gone- replaced with an overwhelming amount of insecurity. The moment he said those words, I thought he could be the somebody. The somebody that wasn't like the rest of the students here. But instead a small gasp leaves his lips and he doesn't say anything anymore. I close my eyes and face the front of the class again. "No shit, right?" I mutter under my breath. My eyes will always be a clear give away to the fact that I'm blind. From my memory of before, when everything had color, they were a deep brown. After the accident however, most of the color left and a dullness entered, according to my mom. She claims they still have the appearance of normal eyes, just slightly discolored hazel ones. I will never be able to decide that for myself. ------

This is my first published novel Under Glass. It's out of print so I'm going to be releasing it here, chapter by chapter for free. As I uploaded I updated it a bit so it's unedited right now. Dedication There are days where a boy with brown eyes still floats into my mind. He had a lopsided grin and a great sense of humor. We dated in college where we danced and talked about all the things we wanted to be when we grew up. We broke up, it was dramatic like all college breakups are. He committed suicide while I was hanging out with my friends. His death changed my entire life.

I saw his brown eyes and at first i thought-they are so small ....but i kinda liked them.I said "Ok" and wanted to go but he stopped me.I turned around and i look at him once again.That was my mistake because he smiled showing his white teeth with two in front a little bigger. I literally felt that Earth stoped moving.I couldnt breath,i couldnt move,i couldnt even take my eyes of him.His smile hit me like tunder lighting and i was helpless........

where do you think your going" I got up and bolted,I obviously didn't get very far.he grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back. I felt his breath in my ear as I was roughly pulled against him."d- don't hurt me please" he chuckled sending shivers down my body. He seemed to notice so he spun me around and shoved me into the wall. "ARE YOU SCARED NOW IS THAT IT!" I didn't answer I only looked down "ANSWER ME WHEN I'M SPEAKING TO YOU!" "N- no I'm not scared of you" he gave me another disgusted look "I should fix that then!"
