Hunter Damon was an Archangel, a vital member of the Tribunal. Though, he cheated, wronged and sinned. He was caught by the Archangels and the head of the Tribunal who punished him. Hunter was banished to Earth for 500 years where many of his enemies were awaiting him. Hunter swore that he would one day; get revenge on the person who played him.

The Angels call him 20 years later. His time is not up but they need him to do something for them. They set him a task, a task of which is completed, would get him back into Heaven. Hunter has to learn the secrets hidden deep inside the heart of a normal girl on Earth.

Hunter doubts that the Tribunal is serious, until he learns more about the girl. He learns that both her biological parents were angels, making her a Demangel.

The girl seems to know nothing of her past, believing that her mother died during childbirth and her father soon followed, therefore she was adopted. Hunter finds it difficult to understand the girl, let alone search her heart. 

How can Hunter learn the secrets hidden in her heart when he has to lie right to her face? How will he get her to trust him?

(I suggest you read the tags first because I made some of them pretty funny) The brutal way in which Angels are forced to fall, tying them down to rip off their wings and then dragging down their halos to permanently encircle their necks, all those sentenced to exile are forced to face. Once you leave you may not come back unless ordered to. America, an Angel forced to become one with the Fallen, was gifted to opportunity to re-enter and integrate back into the Angelic Society. Something no Fallen Angel has been able to do. Him and a small group of other Fallen Angels, as well as his found brother, a Demon, became a part of a government run program to see if reintegration was even possible. The small group have no choice but to put up with the insistent bulling and borderline terrorism from the students at an all Angel academy.
