#1 jail #1 fight #1 criminal *** "Don't take it personal, I just like to play it safe, you know." He said, crouching down in front of me to tie each of my ankles to the chair. I couldn't move at all, especially after he duct taped even my waist to the chair. I watched him examine his work whilst he rubbed his beard and then a slow grin creeped onto his face. He bent down and put one end of the duct tape on my damn nipple, went around the chair again and ripped it off. He put the other end on my other nipple and I felt my cheeks heat up in humiliation. "Just to make sure you don't get cold again." He looked at me, his smirk slowly fading again. I gave him a hard stare. His hand reached out and fixed the glasses on my nose. Then he turned the chair so, that I was looking at the couch. He sat down, arms spread out on the back rest of the old leather couch, his eyes fixed on me again. "And now we're gonna talk." *** Belle Valery was a hardworking and rather unpopular law school student. She was almost done with school, had a structured daily schedule that consisted of waking up, going to school, going to the local library and study until she got a headache. She would walk home at night and go to sleep immediately. For almost three years that was all Belle knew and she was hoping to get her degree without further complications. But hope often differs from reality. Especially when her neighbourhood was suddenly on lockdown, because an escapee was on the loose. Belle didn't expect to one day wake up and find said escapee peacefully sleeping in her room. She didn't expect to scream and wake him up. And she didn't expect that morning to be the beginning of their incredible, yet a little complex love story. But life is always better unplanned and unexpected. Strange Mutations (one man's trash)
This collection of short stories span over a four-year period. I like to think of them as sudden bursts of frantic writings filled with certainty that I was on my way to becoming a literary genius. But after the story was complete and my creative juices had run dry, I would completely forget they existed. Wham! Bam! Thank you, Mam! I used and abused them. I'd only come back around if nothing better was available. I guess you could say I was quite the fiction fucker. When I did come back to revise, I was mortified to find out that - what I thought would make Stephen King jealous of me for once - was nothing but a one night stand with a bad case of beer goggles. Damn, she was ugly... Ugh!!! But don't fear, possible reader, these ladies have been reworked immensely with extreme make-overs, so they're looking pretty decent these days and deserve a chance. I always found myself coming back to fix the little bruises and then forget about them all over again. I didnt have the heart to throw them away. But now I must set them free. They need to get out and see the world. There's no reason to be scared, I tell them, if they don't accept you for who you are, then they're probably not your "type" anyway. So most have mutated into completely different animals from where they began. (See how I got the title? So clever, I am) They are not in any particular order, but "Fly on the wall", "The Healing Tree", "There's no monsters", and "Framed by a phantom" are very close to the first stories I'd ever written. The only other things I should note is, the twin tales "Crow's Peak Chronicles" was intended to be a trilogy; the third part has yet to be written and has a good chance of being released never. Writing Scrapbook
I gracefully raced down to the bulging rocks, stretching across the shore. Eva was waiting for me, her gorgeous brown hair waving in the harsh winds that made our noses numb, and our cheeks turned red as roses. We had been here together as sisters, stranded at this farm. We had been homeschooled, and never really met anybody else, so when our parents died five years ago, nobody had thought to check and see if we were ok. We were set on surviving, and running our small farm by the lake in Iceland. We owned a few cats, a coop of a dozen chickens, and a handful of pigs. They all stay caged up inside, because we're afraid some would walk out the barn and never return. Along with the livestock, we had a small brick shed with a blazing red roof. It used to be where Father worked on making tools and such, but Eva and I have turned it into a secondary little house. There's a loft we stuffed full of crispy, warm hay. When nights on the farm are late, we stay there. Besides, it feels more like home. The house gets cold at times, and nightmares come upon Eva and I. But curled up next to each other in the loft, although uncomfortable, makes the nightmares not strike as hard. This is a collection of short stories, poems, and other writing. It ranges from stories of abandoned girls in the past, to the horrible end of the world in the future, to haiku about a forest, and a poem about waves washing up on the surface. "Who are you?" He asked eyes as wide and bright as the moon. His expression didn't even fit his pretty face anymore, it was just plastered there laughing at me crushing me down. This is not me! I don't get emotional and break down. I was raised to be strong and fight these horrible beasts that murdered my family. I took a look at him. He was all tied up and bruised. His dress shirt was wet and torn with blood all over it. I hated how he looked, it broke me down. "Answer me!" He yelled nearly in my face. I closed my eyes shut and felt a tear leave my eye. How can i just betray him like this? And make a fool out of myself. "I.. I.." I started but i couldn't Finnish my words. I felt like i'd die if i do. I met Josh Teris when i was attacked by a pack of werewolves. He was on the side of the creak when i saw him i could tell he was a werewolf, he had a dark and dangerous look to him. He was the most beautiful man I've ever seen, he was clueless so i lied to him my name and made up a whole different person that i wasn't. Maybe i did it because i wanted to get away from the life i had. Be normal for just one second. My life was based on rules and whenever i was with him he made me feel alive. I knew danger was lurking in his way. When it came it revealed all of me. Secrets came out and things started to reveal that i never thought was true myths that i read about in old books at least i thought they were myths. Now he knows and now i don't know if he would look at me the same. Every Vengeance, Has it's Price.Complete
