Anxious for adventure, Tintin leaves his home in Brussels, Belgium behind for a new life at sea aboard the merchant ship, the Karaboujan, as a radio operator. As he gets used to sailor life, he gets to know a few his shipmates, including the ships captain, Allan Thompson, and his quite clumsy, but kindhearted, first mate Tom. However, as the seas begin to churn and the journey ahead becomes much more dangerous, Tintin begins to question if the Karaboudjan and her crew are all what they seem. ( Tintin AU)

The Adventures of Teenage Tintin
Tintin is a new kid in Marlinshire. Haddock, his guardian, is trying his best to give him a normal adolescence. For the first time in his life, Tintin has to navigate the anxiety inducing world of being a teenager. Cue sweaty palms, teenage sarcasm, best friends, bullies, crushes, and first loves. This is a series for my modern reimagining of Tintin as a teenager. The stories will be in chronological order, and will for the most part be told in sort of "slice of life" style parts. I'm going to play around with it, but this will be a cohesive story, and there will be a through line through each chapter, all written in the same universe of him navigating high school and all the intricacies and awkwardness of teenage life.
