I saw him standing in front of me. His thick gray fur brushing against the powdered pine trees. His fierce blue eyes gazed at me with wonder. I peered at him as he circled around me.
"Rose?" He asked in a voice so sinister it gave me chills. Or maybe it was just the chilling winter air biting at my arms. I nod.
"I am the Wolf. Please don't leave. I've been so lonely all these years."
"I'm not afraid. Please tell me Mister Wolf, why are you lonely?"
"I always seem to hurt the ones closest to me. So I talk to the moon. She is my only friend and I love her. She is always there in my darkest times. Tell me Rose, why are you lonely?"
