It's the Christmas holidays. And Eadlin Chandler, an esteemed writer is not excited for the season having discovered that the love letters she wrote to her long forgotten childhood best friend; Valerio Beckett have stopped. Having been in love with him since the start of their friendship, Eadlin is more than heartbroken than worried when she finds out that the letters have stopped abruptly for no reason given the fact it has been eight years since they last saw each other. Eadlin and Valerio have managed to write to one another since moving away eight years ago; penning each other letters, either one of them not knowing that they are both in love with one another. With Eadlin, desperately wanting to know what happened to her childhood best friend and his absence of writing her letters, she goes on a quest, travelling back to her hometown where she used to live, right next door to Valerio, right to where her love for him all began. At once charming, heartbreaking, and endearing, These Paper Wings Are Dying Today will have you questioning whether love is really worth chasing at all costs.
