WattNaNo Drama Pick Winner 2018. This book has slices of my life, a memoir, covering my difficult childhood coping with my mother's severe mental heath issues and my journey today. This is a collection of short stories that can be independently read. A positive and honest recount. Postcards from the past, some bad some good. My mother's schizophrenia terrified me when she died it made an impact on my life. Writing this book is my chance to let it go of the pain and move on. I felt confusion, anger and fear as a child but now I am a mother myself I realise my mother was unable to help the way she was and that's so sad, that we never connected. I have written this from an observation point of where I have looked back a the past with an adult view and perspective over time. I've done my best to be honest. So take me as I am or leave me be. Here in book Three we'll find out what happens to the rest of the kids and we'll see if happily ever after is possible for everyone. Excerpt: They were cute I could admit it. Even if I wanted to roll my eyes at them. Peter and Mattie had already been through so much not to mention my little sister. I looked over at Olivia and couldn't believe we hadn't seen it. How had we not seen it. We'd been with her the day it happened how had we been so distracted we hadn't seen it? I wasn't sure I'd be able to forgive myself for that. Da stood up and handed Libby to me. "Keep an eye on her I need to check Samantha's diaper I think she's getting a little ripe." I laughed and looked down at my little sister. Nothing like that would ever happen to her I didn't car what I had to do. Olivia was the last sister I failed. I rocked Libby in my arms and wondered who'd be next, would it be me or Josie or even Olivia? Addy and Nelly were too young even if they did meet someone, they wouldn't be allowed to finish their mating. When da came back from changing Samantha's diaper he switched girls so that Libby could get her own diaper checked. Samantha, such a cutie had already lost her mother and father to a bunch of hate mongering humans. I knew that they still existed, but I didn't realize they still killed our kind.
