She couldn't read him either. His face was a mirror of her own, they both we're reflections on the past. Before the world dulled their shine. It took everything of her to keep the lump out of her throat as she stared at him, everything to keep away the feelings, the memories and emotions. They both taught themselves a long time ago not to live, not to feel and to chase every emotion away by fear and hate. The room spun around me, but then he let go, and I stumbled, my balance lost. In an instant, he yanked me back towards him, and I bumped hard into his chest, the impact taking my breath away. As I looked down, trying to steady myself, he lifted my chin with his two fingers, making me look into his eyes. The back of his fingers trailed from my neck to my cheek, turning my legs to nothing but a jelly. His gaze was so intense, and instantly the gentle emotions were gone, replaced by his standard emotion, rage. His eyes blazed with an almost frightening intensity. He swirled me harshly again, the movement abrupt and forceful. Then, he bent me backward on his arm, my body arching under his control. He drew his face closer until I could feel his warm breath against my skin. We were so close that I could see the fine lines around his eyes, the slight stubble on his jaw. A soft pink color of his lips were adding a touch of warmth to his face. His eyes bore into mine with deep intensity. Just when I thought he might kiss me, his expressions became colder and he made me stand upright, leaving me disoriented and confused. I was looking at him and he was looking straight ahead.Complete

There are two of us. I have two eyes. It is enough for us. "Never did I think somebody who was physically able would be able to love me in the past. Raising Hell
"I starved myself but I never died. I have no idea how I survived that long without food. The floors I slept on where of moldy brick and sometimes a rat would curl up to my neck. I stopped caring. The warmth kept me sane." I took a deep breath and continued. "The worst part was not knowing. Not knowing what happened to my team. Not knowing happened to my city. I couldn't do anything but stare out the tiny slit of light from under the door. That was my life, that light. I didn't know what time of day it was but that light told me I was still alive. He took a whiff of his cigarette before pulling me close to him. My heart was thumping so hard against my chest that I was afraid he'd feel it as I was pressed so tightly against him. He lowered his lips to mine and I instinctively opened my mouth as I captured the smoke. I wanted nothing more than to cough but I was dead set on proving to him that I wasn't as stuck up as he thought I was. He looked at me intently and I could see the glaze covering his eyes.
