Isang genius na engineer si Mr. Sefton Echelon. Lingid sa kaalaman ng lahat, nakaimbento sya ng isang surveillance system sa Echelon Tower that can intercept and read most electronic communication, including phone calls, faxes, emails and internet downloads.
He was planning to sell it to the government pero dahil sa naimbento nya, nahuli nya ang asawa nya na matagal na palang may affair. He killed her,then he killed himself.
Yun ang naging traumatic experience ng anak nya na si Blake Octard Echelon.
Dahil sa nangyari sa mga magulang, nagalit sya sa mundo at sa lahat ng taong naniniwala sa love. Using the surveillance system, ginulo nya ang lovelife ng lahat ng taong gumagamit ng email,fax, text message at phone call para i-express ang kanilang feelings.
